Morning Music - Wilbur Wilde: SaxLife!

Wednesday, 24 July 2019 | 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM

Wilbur Wilde: SaxLife!

For members of the Hey Hey It's Saturday generations, Wilbur Wilde is a friend.

For 16 years we invited him and the rollicking Hey Hey cast into our lounge rooms every Saturday night during a golden era of Australian television.

Having had success with some mighty Oz rock bands, including Ol'55 and Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons, the variety and musical leanings of Hey Hey suited Willy to the core.

Get ready for a congenial, entertaining and whimsical tale of a life in showbusiness.  From Roy Orbison to Muhammad Ali, from the rocking pubs of Melbourne to the sacred studios of GTV9.

You'll hear a few things you may not have heard before with Wilbur Wilde: SaxLife!

Venue: Auditorium

Running time: 70 minutes, no interval
