360 Phillips Track, Weeaproinah, VIC 3237

his summer, Otway Fly Treetop Adventures will be transformed into a magical fairy wonderland and children from all across the land will be able to help the little fairy and elf friends find their treetop homes.

The Men’s Shed Colac has been working hard to create little magical houses which will be scattered throughout the rainforest floor. Some with verandas, some up to 80 centimetres tall, and all made from recycled materials and fallen branches from the Otway Ranges.

Upon entry all children will receive a magical fairy card to help them to discover all ten fairy and elf homes and unjumble the magic word.

Feel the sprinklings of magical fairy dust along the trail, where you will find a colouring station and the exquisite homes before receiving your reward – an enchanted sticker – at the end of your journey.

So fly in and feel the fairy magic at Otway Fly this summer, if you’re lucky, you may even spot a fairy zipping through the treetops on the attraction’s high-flying Zipline Tour.

A magical experience of Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku) and a Shamanic Drum Journey in the heart of ancient Otways rainforest with secluded waterfalls, on a private property of The Source, Otways. Experience a deeply nourishing, powerful and transformational spiritual nature emersion!

Shamanism is the oldest known cross-cultural spiritual practice, dating back over 100,000 years, and predating all known religions. It's a nature-based spirituality that brings us into harmony with nature and all its creations, in both seen and unseen world. Shamanic practices and rituals offer connection, healing, empowerment, insights and guidance to us for a more soul-directed, meaningful and fulfilling life.

Shamanic Drum Journey enables us to metaphysically travel to Shamanic realms, to work on the spiritual/energetic level with the intention to create positive changes in our physical reality. My medicine drum will take you on a Journey to connect with your Power Animal to gather knowledge and guidance for challenges or questions you are confronted with in your daily life. This is a safe and relaxing experience that offers very powerful and profound insights and results (if you decide to put the insight into practice). After the Drum Journey we will sit in Circle to share our experiences, integrate our learnings and set intentions.

What you will get:

  • be guided on a mediation to open and expand your sensory awareness, body connection and grounding to experience more fully the pristine nature of The Source, Otways
  • follow the meadering walking tracks, decks, bridges and stairs through a totally secluded ancient rainforest and three waterfalls (including a Grotto!) that emit incredible vibrational energy
  • experience 3 Shamanic Drum Journeys and Circle for spiritual insights
  • connect with your self on a whole new level
  • meet other like-minded people
  • enjoy healthy refreshments at the Forest Pavilion, suspended over a crystal clear rainforest creek

Taylor Henderson supporters are in for a real treat. The multi-platinum selling artist will be hitting the road this January 2019 to continue his National “Love Somebody Tour.” Taylor will be serenading you with all the hits and the yet to be released music off his upcoming Album.

These shows are going to be intimate and very personal, which will see Taylor in he’s shining element. Taylor stated, “I’m so excited to be touring again, and this time I want to connect with as many fans as possible.” I can honestly say that the best is yet to come and it starts with this tour. I haven’t worked this hard ever, so this tour and new music are so exciting for me. The last two years of my life, have been such a character builder and honestly, my commitment to my music and my fans have never been as committed as it is now.”

These shows will allow you to hear Taylor from the heart, so get ready for an intimate evening with Taylor Henderson.

In 2013, Taylor released his self-titled debut album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Australasian Aria Charts and was subsequently certified as Platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association. In addition to this the single from that album "Borrow My Heart" also debuted at No. 1 with triple platinum status. It is said in the Music Industry that you are only as good as your second album. If this is true then his second album "Burnt Letters" also debuted at No.1 yielding a Top 5 hit with the song "When You Were Mine". In August 2016 Taylor released his new song "Light Up The Dark" which was featured on the Australian Film, Spin Out. The past two years for Taylor have seen some major changes and selfanalysis drawing insight from some of his favourite artists such as Ed Sheeran, John Mayer and Michael Jackson, who all had one thing in common, being true to their art and passion. Taylor has hand-picked all of the important elements needed to get his music to his fans on his terms. Thus 2019 is shaping up to be a busy period for Taylor with his new hit single titled "Love Somebody" and a
National Tour of the same name, kicking off in Victoria and then throughout the country.

Red Door Dance and Theatre Co proudly presents   13 The Musical

Evan Goldman is about to turn thirteen, and he can't wait.   His life seems full of possibilities - that is, until his parents get divorced, and he is forced to move with his mom from big-city New York to backwater Appleton, Indiana.   If Evan can't get the coolest kids to come to his bar mitzvah, how is he going to survive the school year, not to mention the rest of his life?

As Evan navigates the world of cool kids and nerds, jocks and cheerleaders, first kisses and heartbreak, he comes to understand "What it Means to Be a Friend."

With a bright, catchy pop score from Jason Robert Brown, equal doses of humour and pathos, and a cast of wildly talented teens, 13  is irresistible to grown ups and almost-grown ups alike.

Fungi delight and intrigue and provide the connective network of terrestrial ecosystems. The forests surrounding Gellibrand harbour some of the most diverse and bizarre fungi in the state.

This workshop introduces participants to the diversity, ecology and curiosities of the Kingdom Fungi, specific to fungi found in the Otways region but also within wider Australian and global contexts.

It will include a ninety-minute interactive session on the basics of fungus identification where participants will get to handle, examine and identify various fungi. Participants will also learn to recognise the various diagnostic characteristics used to identify fungi in the field. Fungi will be discussed in regard to their ecological roles and also cultural aspects such as edibility and toxicity.

We will then partake in an exciting two hour foray through various local ecosystems to search for species of interest.

Supplementary notes are also provided. Participants are encouraged to bring along their own specimens for identification at the workshop.
