There is always something to see or do in the Otway Country to Coast region. Take a leisurely drive through the magnificent forests and you'll find something super, natural around almost every corner. From spectacular scenery, local native flora and fauna, taste tempting dining experiences and unique attractions to secluded hideaways you may never want to leave.

However if you are looking for an excuse to visit the Otway Region then here is a list of events that just might tempt you to come back again and again.

SILVIE PALADINO in The Songs of Eva Cassidy

Silvie is one of Australia's most versatile and talented entertainers.  She is a popular concert performer, recording artist and has starred in musicals such as Mamma Mia, Catsand Les Miserables in Australia and on London's West End.

Before Eva Cassidy died at the age of 33, she was unknown outside of Washington USA, but within two years of her death her albums topped the charts in the UK, Europe, Australia and the rest of the world.

This show features inspired re-imaginings of such classic tunes as 'Over the Rainbow', 'Fields of Gold', 'Autumn Leaves', 'Time After Time', 'Ain't No Sunshine', 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', 'What a Wonderful World' and, of course, 'Songbird'.

Be sure to visit during this popular two-day community event. Activities launch on Friday night with the opening of the Birregurra Festival and Art Show and continue through until Sunday afternoon. Main Street transforms into a busy marketplace selling local produce, gourmet food and wine and the main stage features a lineup of top entertainment. This all-singing, all-dancing celebration features some of the most electric dance sequences ever conceived for film.   Cheek to Cheek is a rare chance to see the flair and skill of the two Silver Screen legends recreated live on stage by two of Australia's brightest young music theatre performers - Ross Hannaford and Amy Berrisford.

Featuring classic songs including the Academy Award winning 'Night and Day', 'Let's Call the Whole Thing Off', 'Top Hat', 'White Tie and Tails', 'They Can't Take That Away From Me' and 'The Way You Look Tonight'.

The four-day event runs in Camperdown's main street Manifold Street and will feature 12 bands, a classic car and motorcycle display, street market, vintage fashion and beauty and much more. Denise will put the jingle in your bells with a collection of Christmas classics plus some of her all-time favourite songs such as 'Hey Paula', 'Wonderful World', 'Look At Us', and 'Personality'.

Denise's television career has been amazing, starting as a young girl on Kommotion, The Go Show and guesting on many major television shows including In Melbourne Tonight and The Don Lane Show.  She is currently on Studio 10.

Whether it's singing great songs, doing impersonations, busting out her famous 'chook walk' or cracking gags, this lady has no peer as she entertains her audiences!
